Apartments Spanish Steps

Apartment accommodations are an excellent alternative to staying in a hotel while you're going to Rome. Yet, deciding precisely where to rent apartments in Rome can be complex.

If you're not certain which apartment and what zone you'd like to stay in, here's a little bit of information to help you make a decision. Learning about the areas and the available options can be a big help.

Apartments near Spanish Steps
This is an elegant district full with designer shops, elegant restaurants and popular bars. Yet, it's not just a tourist trap - lots of fashionable Roman families and individuals reside in this region, too.

Piazza Navona
Touristy and filled with locals by day, this area quiets down a little at night, but still has local bars and restaurants to offer some fun. The roads around this zone are full of excellent little boutiques for shoppers.

Campo de Fiori
A world famous outdoor market dominates this district by day, and makes a fantastic place for people watching. In the summer, the forum alone is full of people enjoying the weather and feels exciting and fun.

Trastevere
An area well known for value bars and restaurants, this district is peaceful in the day, but livelier at nighttime. It's a pleasant district for a daytime meander, with cobblestone streets and eye-catching scenery.

Apartments near Colosseum
Residential area nearby the Colosseum are part of one of the oldest neighborhoods within Rome, and offer a comforting, homelike environment. You will enjoy a trip to the old trattorias or a stroll down the cobbled streets, and the forum is just a quick walk away.

Vatican
This middle class residential area around the Vatican is full of activity by day but peaceful by night. It's a great, cheap zone for any person whose major cause for a visit to Rome is taking a trip to the Vatican itself.

Via Veneto
This street was established at the end of the 1880s, and meant to feature elegant shops, high status lodging and fashionable cafes. It's one of Rome's most elegant districts, near to all the major sights, and an excellent selection for luxurious apartments.

Aventino
This peaceful, tree-filled community features several old villas and apartment buildings, and is near to both Testaccio and Trastavere. It's an inexpensive spot to soak up some Old World atmosphere and have a peaceful vacation.

Borghese Gardens
This neighborhood gives extremely reasonably priced vacation apartment rentals, but don't be worried about quality or locality. Close links to the public transport system and great quality furnishings await you here.

Termini
This thrilling part of Rome features several newly renovated buildings, several of which offer elevators (rare in Roman apartments). There's heaps to take in and do at day and night in this locale, and access to public transportation is easy.

These aren't all the regions where you can find an super for your lodge in Rome, but they are some of the best. Whether you're looking for a bustling area with loads of attractions and a good night life, or a quieter area that gives calm with a old fashioned setting, you're sure to find it!
