Camping And The Most Essential Things To Bring For Survival

Camping is not a dangerous activity but nevertheless the risk of danger is always present. So, it is important that you always bring with you a camping survival kit.

Just like every expert and well-experienced campers out there, a survival kit is always the very first thing you should pack when you're preparing for your next camping trip. You will never know what will happen to you when you're in a pitch dark wilderness. So make sure you bring them with you.

A compass and a map are the very first thing on the checklist. As we all know, compass and maps will help you in finding a location directions to make sure you are not lost in the middle of nowhere. Before heading out, make sure that the compass is working properly. Check the gauge whether it's working and pointing on the right direction or not before putting them in your survival kit. Having an extra compass too will also help in case the other one broke.

A knife blade should also be present on your survival kit as they will be necessary for your cutting and slicing activity during your camping trip. When choosing a knife blade, choose one with multiple features. Choose knife blades with multi tools.

Another survival item on the list are the waterproof matches or lighter for your cooking activities and fire building. Cooking alone or cooking together is a part of every camping trip. Matches won't work and will never be able to create fire when their wet, that's why a waterproof one is best especially for campers.

Drinking containers and water purification tablets are also important for your survival during camping. When you camp, do not be so sure of yourself that the water you are drinking from the springs and rivers are safe. Water-bourne diseases like cholera are some of the most common diseases that strike a camper. A water purification tablets will help to ensure you that you're drinking safe water. Make sure you bring them in the list.

And last but not the least; do not forget to bring with you your first aid kit. Cuts and burns are common during camping. Check first whether you have enough bandages, ointments, cottons, alcohols, betadine, pain relievers and the like to last for your camping escapade.

Another survival thing you should include in your kit is the tent. A four person dome tent is another thing that should be included in your survival kit.They are sturdier, spacious and keeps you will protected and comfortable sleeping at night. You should buy 4 person dome tent now if you plan to go out for your next camping trip sooner or later. They are great enough to keep you surviving in the wilderness.
