Bali is located on latitude 80 South and longitude 1150 East. To enter Bali you need a passport that has a validity period of six months and in most circumstances a visa will be required as well. The local currency is the Rupiah. When traveling to the villages, it would be far better to always have Rupiah currency with you. In Bali you must dress casually, use light-weight garments, as the weather is warm pretty much through the year. There are truly only two seasons in Bali; the wet or wet season that occurs from November to April, and the dry season for the rest of the year. The Balinese have their own language, but virtually all Balinese speak Bahasa Indonesia.
