Green Spaces And Parks In Barcelona

When you hear the word town almost all of you'll think of grey, asphalt, cars and big buildings. But Barcelona is different. Notwithstanding the incontrovertible fact that it is a big town with over 1.5 million inhabitants, you'll find a lot of parks and green spaces all over the town.

One of the most beautiful green spaces is the Park de la Ciutadella, a big park with big green spaces, stunning flowers, an impressive fountain and a tiny lake. You can lend a boat, relax in the sunshine, have a picnic or do sports here. Additionally, the Barcelona Zoo is also situated in the park, which is a visit worth. In this park you can find fun and relaxation. If you would like to stay close to this park, book a Hostel Barcelona Zentrum, in the guts of Barcelona.

One of the most noted parks in Barcelona is surely the Park Guell, which was build by the designer Antoni Gaudi. Besides the fact that you have a great view over the entire town of Barcelona from the highest point of the park, you'll find many mosaics made of ceramic shards, tiny homes, inspiring fountains and weird, provoking shapes in a mystical and natural garden landscape. Particularly in the summer months the park can be crowed and full of holiday makers ; therefore , it's a smart move to go to the park during the morning hours.

Another great place to be is the Laberint dHorta- the Horta Garden and Maze. In this puzzling place are less visitors and you can relax and enjoy the silence as well as the nature, fare away from all of the trouble and the strain in the town centre. The park has not only lovely flowers and a numerous number of fountains but also a big maze in which you can get lost in the middle of the nature for some time. If you don't need to get lost in Barcelona, book your Hostel Barcelona in your preferred area of the town.

Besides these great and famous parks, Barcelona has a lot of smaller but also stunning parks and green spaces all over the town. If you are searching for a bit nature and relaxation from all the trouble and the mad run in the town, you'll definitely find it in Barcelona.
