Nice Holidays at the Costa Brava

If you've never thought about Costa Brava as a vacation destination then you should give it a look. There are 2 faces to this stunning part of Spain. There's the side that caters to the party loving nightclub and beach crowd, and then there's the gentler more idyllic side. There are just a few hamlets that are a part of the tourist party reputation, but what they lack in number they make up for in atmosphere! The real face of the Costa Brava is legendary for relaxation with an emphasis on spa treatments and historic design rather than dives. If you like your weather warm but not hot and stifling, then the Costa Brava is the place for you! Fly to BCN airfield and enjoy a Flughafentransfer Barcelona.

The hotels mirror the 2 different sides of the area. One side is pretty much concentrated on cheap basic Costa Brava hotels for younger visitors who are more interested in beach life and clubbing than the way the hotel looks. The other side of the hostels in Costa Brava look after the tourists who need to be made to feel special on their vacation. These Costa Brava hotels offer some kind of luxury even for those on a lower budget - though naturally some hotels in Costa Brava offer pricey exclusivity! A substitute for making a hotel booking is to think about hiring one of the Costa Brava flats. Though this might appeal to tourists who hope to have maid service and house maids turning down their freshly laundered sheets each night, residences in Costa Brava could work out lots more economical for holiday makers travelling in tiny groups, especially if they are staying for 2 weeks.

There are many places you can visit on your vacation to Costa Brava. Roses, a resort close to the French border mixes Spanish culture with French to supply a novel mixture of the two. Figueres, situated close to Roses, is the artist Salvador Dali's birthplace. He and his wife designed the Teatre-Museu Gala Salvador Dali which you can see there. You can escape the main holiday maker traps by going to Calella, located close to Barcelona - here you may have a more authentic look at Spanish life.

If you're not much into cultural sight-seeing, Javea is the best place to go to as there's plenty to do there. Playa de Arenal is a beautiful beach there with lots of space - as long as it is not too crammed with folk ( which can occur in summer season ). This area isn't cheap so if you are on a strict budget you may like to go to Denia instead - and here you may also get the ferry across to Mallorca and Ibiza or Barcelona Reisen.

For those who like to go further afield, Alicante is a place with many town sights and beach-based activities to explore. With historical design and lovely beaches, there's something for everyone!

The area means different things to different folks, you could even get it that they are not talking about the same place! That is because it is so diverse and offers so many opportunities to have a great vacation. The social scene would possibly not be as manic as Ibiza but it is's still a good place for a holiday!
