Playa Blanca Hotels - Where Will You Stay

Holiday planning time is here again so where will we go this time? Choosing a holiday is great fun and an excellent way to find out more about the world around us.

If you are concerned about having a more eco friendly approach you could simply stay at home but where's the fun in that. On the other hand you could have you cake and eat it by choosing a holiday destination that is not too far away and yet will still be warm and sunny like Lanzarote in the Canary Islands

Flights to Lanzarote</a> are readily available so your budget should not be too stretched just getting here. and Lanzarote airport transfers are nice and quick thanks to the short distances involved and the excellent road network.

Combined with the other six Canary Islands in the chain, Lanzarote enjoys an outstanding semi-tropical environment, delivering clement temperatures whatever the season. thanks to its geographical situation close to the Tropic of Cancer just off the coast of Africa.

If your coming on a beach centric holiday you won't be at all disappointed as Lanzarote's beaches are best described as beautiful, golden and of course sandy, and thanks to the islands wonderful climate and year round sunshine, these can be enjoyed in almost any season. The main resorts here each boast their share of palm fringed playas, as well as a good range of facilities to meet the demands of locals and visitors alike so you'll be well catered for on all fronts.

Car hire in Lanzarote will give you excellent flexibility and will enable you to see much of the island.

If you are travelling independently then ensure that you book your accommodation in advance to be on the safe side, but even though hundreds of thousands of travellers and amongst them British tourists will be enjoying a holiday break on the island during the course of the upcoming year, and approximately half of these opting to stay in self catering accommodation and apartments there is still ample accommodation to go round. If you haven't yet confirmed your holiday resort then Puerto del Carmen is very worth while investigating. Over the course of its history, Puerto del Carmen has been transformed from a small village surrounding a harbour to a tourist destination. The majority of visitors to the town will stay in self-catering accommodation.

If you have been to the island previously you'll have a fair idea of where to stay depending on your holiday plans but Playa Blanca does tick an awful lot of boxes for most people.

If hotels are to your liking then Playa Blanca has more than its fair share including:

  • The Dream Hotel Gran Castillo
  • Pueblo Marinero
  • H10 Timanfaya Palace
