The Demo At The British Bike Series Attracts Giant Mountain Bikes
The British Mountain Bike Series is the country’s largest biking event in the whole year and attendees get to see races, challenges and bike demos at 5 venues around the UK. The best riders showcase their skills in front of families, enthusiasts and fellow riders. And for the first time ever, 2010 will see some of the country’s biggest bike makers attend the new demo events which showcase the best bikes around. Giant Mountain Bikes have joined forces with several other brands from the sport including Trek and Specialised to create a demo which will allow riders of all abilities to test out the latest models and practise some new skills on world class bikes.
It will be the first event of its kind and people from across the UK will be able to experience a demo as there are 5 venues in total. The venues include Nottinghamshire, Plymouth, Yorkshire, South Wales and London. And whether you want to take the family biking, learn new tricks or get some technical information, Giant Mountain Bikes Managing Director Ian Beasant promises that you can get all this and more at the demos.
The organisers of the British Mountain Bike Series hope that 2010 will be their best year yet with the addition of this demo and the various riding events that take place. There really is something for everyone at the events including XC challenges, endurance tests and races for the young bikers. Last year the BMBS attracted over 4000 riders and hopes are high that this year there will be even more.
As well as getting to see some great biking action at the British Series you can also use the vent as a basis for a great weekend away. At some of the venues you can Go-Ape, visit a deer park, adventure playgrounds, castles and forests. You might just do something you never knew existed in the UK.
