The Past and Present of California Translator Services

The area of land that is now California has always been characterized by its many languages and nationalities. As a result, the major cities of California have many translation services and interpretation agencies with many highly qualified professionals that are capable of handling most jobs.

There are many reasons why San Francisco is home to people from many nationalities. As a large port of entry, the city has attracted a great deal of businesses that are involved in international trade and commerce. The city is very cosmopolitan, with a large Hispanic quarter where Spanish sounds and signs are dominant. The San Francisco area is unique in that it has a number of established ethnic communities for Italian, Hispanics, Koreans and Chinese. Chinatown is about eight blocks long and has two long main streets, Grant and Stockton. It's easy to give in to the urge to just shuffle down Grant Avenue, buy a few Chinatown souvenirs or t-shirts and miss the most interesting parts. It was completely destroyed in the fire of 1906, and its inhabitants moved temporarily across the bay to Oakland, but by 1910 the quarter had been practically rebuilt in an improved manner, yet retaining its markedly Asian characteristics. Because Chinatown was rebuilt to be safer, cleaner and better than it was before, they general population of San Francisco was happy. In addition, the new Chinatown became a center for San Francisco Translation Services, as the city hosted two official Chinese newspapers and countless other foreign language media outlets.

San Francisco isn't the only city in Northern California that offers great cultural events and fun times. The city of San José is approximately 50-miles away from San Francisco and has the nation's best public safety record of any metropolitan area. It also features a spectacular ethnic diversity and an attractive climate. San Jose was founded in 1997 and today represents one of the largest concentrations of technology expertise in the world which employees nearly 254,000 people. San Jose was founded by a group of Franciscan missionaries who intended to create a chain, each 24-hours apart by horseback. The number of people living there grew to 750 in the year 1840. Historians are quick to point out that even during San Jose's early days the area had a unique Hispanic culture. Although Mexico lost California and the Mexican soldiers retreated back into Mexico, that didn’t stop the settlement of San Jose from growing and prospering into the major U.S. city that it is today. Although Mexico lost California and the Mexican soldiers retreated back into Mexico, that didn’t stop the settlement of San Jose from growing and prospering into the major U.S. city that it is today. This was partly due to the success of San Jose Translation. The town was occupied by the forces of the United States in July 1846; and a skirmish with the natives occurred in its vicinity in January 1847. Four years after the first American forces occupied San Jose, the area became an official California city and the state's capital.

Unlike San Francisco and San Jose, San Diego is a metropolitan area located in southern California. Each year, hundreds of thousands of visitors take a short trek through the downtown area to visit the original Spanish village that Is still intact today. Through numerous occupations and change of hands combined with its relative proximity to Mexico meant that it was an important language center. Indeed, San Diego Translator service has grown and moved with the city. By 1867 the population of the city had decreased so considerably, that a land developer laid out a new city about 3 miles south of the old town. San Diego is now known as the new section that was planned way back in the 1860's.
