The Villages Florida Town Squares- Find Out About It Right Away

I remember the first time I visited one of The Villages Florida Town Squares.

It was just about ten years ago, just a couple days after moving my family 900 miles to savor the beauty as well as action of Florida. We knew nothing at all about it and were actually just looking for a place to eat.

Picture our surprise once we discovered throngs of people, golf carts, pet dogs on leashes and complete uniqueness. We marveled at the turn of the century appearance for the structures, all the untouched landscaping, and also the cobblestone sidewalks.

The streets ended up abuzz by means of shops and eateries doing brisk business. However, the actual center of adventure was at this square. Comparable to old-time downtowns, The Villages sports a fabulous square space right in the middle of the buildings with a one way street totally around it. There is a gazebo within the middle in which live popular music is played nightly, while the exterior is regarded as a dancing floor as well as sitting area for vistors. And don’t forget the happy hour drink special deals that appear to be perpetual.

The Villages in fact boasts two squares, Spanish Springs that was the first and Lake Sumter Landing, which is bigger and features stunning lake views. Furthermore, a new square is currently being built on the southern end of the massive development and even guarantees to actually best the first 2.

Why then do I like the town squares so much?

Well, it’s very simple. There is just absolutely no other location like it. I love over eating at one of the numerous superb eating places and then strolling down and up the streets experiencing the attractions and smells. Eventually, I will end up sitting in a seat monitoring the dancers tearing the dancing floor. Line dancing is huge in the neighborhood so there are a few serious line dancers who appear to boogie each and every song exactly the same.

The nightly activity is free and always first class. I like older music and will often hear a number of my personal faves while unwinding with a cold drink.

If you have never entered into The Villages Florida and spent an night at one of the town squares, then you definitely will be missing out on an incredible experience!
