Tourists that come to the Southland often visit Los Angeles, yet over look the city that sits right next door. Tourists looking for entertainment, should not want to miss the Long Beach attractions.

Located just east of L.A., the seaside community is known for tourism and it's ability to show visitors a good time. There are so many interesting long beach points of interest that you could never visit them all — unless you’ve got a month to spare. Some of the best sites include the following:

Aquarium of the Pacific: The aquarium features three galleries about distinct regions of the Pacific ocean. In Shark Lagoon, you can be face to face with the deep-ocean creatures. Outside there is an aviary where tourists can take pictures with a beautiful group of Lorikeets.

Shoreline Village: This retail Mecca for tourists has eclectic kiosks, places to eat and water attractions. Queen Mary: The WWII ship is harbored in Long Beach, and has been since 1967. Take a tour and discover its interesting history. If you enjoy an adventure, you can even stay overnight aboard the luxury liner and eat Sunday brunch in the ship's renowned dining room.

Rubber Duck Tours: This tour takes families on a guided ride all over the harbor area and then bay without ever eye-catching vehicle can travel over land and water — a novelty that kids of all ages find amazing.
