Here you find a short description of what the 2 capital towns have to offer and if you hire an OH Holidays flat you'll enjoy both of the towns very much .

Rome is the Eternal town and the true town of empire with its legacy of columns, triumphal arches, and gigantic buildings. But this isnot the whole story of this traditional town : Rome is also a thriving and busy metropolis where Italian government and commerce rub shoulders together to the soundtrack of present-day existence. In addition Rome includes the miniscule town state of Vatican City, the domain of the Roman Catholic Church and the home of the Pope.

All roads, naturally, lead to Rome and not only for the traditional Coliseum, Trajan's Column, Saint Paul's Basilica, the Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish Steps-visitors also discover the pleasures of the lesser-known streets with their lively chatter and bustle. Romans enjoy street life to a degree unknown in several cooler climates, and while the restaurants and bars are renowned for their atmosphere on no account miss the opportunity to savor a big selection of delicious food and drink. The city is potentially even more pretty at night when lights pick out the details and silhouettes of the buildings and monuments.

From Coliseum to Castell San Angelo, from the traditional Roman Forum to St. Peter's Square at the guts of the Vatican ; from the Piazza Navona to the cobbles of the Appian Way-Rome is a gorgeous and historic town that will delight who will hire appartamenti a roma.

Serious music lovers have long considered Vienna to be just this side of paradise : one encounters music everywhere, from the sounds of a child practicing a Mozart piano sonata thru an open window to street musicians playing classical as well as hippy music. No other city has been home to so many composers of global renown : some,eg Schubert, Strauss, Schoenberg and Berg were born there, others,eg Mozart, Beethoven, Haydn, Brahms and Mahler selected to live there.

Culinary culture is an essential part of the strategy for living that has distinguished Vienna for centuries. Viennese cuisine is maybe the sole cuisine in the world that's named for a town and not a country. Vienna has been influenced by many countries throughout the previous 10 centuries, something that may explain much of its attraction - and not only in the realm of cooking. The word Heurigen has long been part of the vocabulary of tourism in Vienna - no sightseeing visit to the city on the Danube would be complete without a trip to a Viennese Heurigen. Heurigens have now become a synonym for some of what's best in Vienna : hospitality, gemtlichkeit, joie de vivre mingled with a little melancholy, good strong food and refreshing dry wine. In fact, as a uniquely Viennese establishment, a way of life, Heurigens are 2nd only to Kaffehaus.
