Here you find a short description of what the two capital towns have to offer and if you rent an OH Holidays flat you will enjoy each of the towns a lot.
Rome is the unceasing town and the true town of empire with its bequest of columns, triumphal arches, and huge buildings. But this isnot the whole story of this traditional town : Rome is also aflourishing and busy metropolis where Italian central authority and commerce rub shoulders together to the soundtrack of modern life. In addition Rome includes the small town state of Vatican City, the domain of the Roman Catholic Church and the home of the Pope.
All roads, of course, lead to Rome and not only for the ancient Coliseum, Trajan's Column, Saint Paul's Basilica, the Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish Steps-visitors also discover the pleasures of the lesser-known streets with their lively gossip and bustle. Romans enjoy street life to a degree unknown in numerous cooler climates, and while the restaurants and bars are known for their atmosphere on no account miss the opportunity to savor a big selection of delectable food and drink. The town is potentially even more gorgeous at night when lights pick out the details and silhouettes of the buildings and monuments.
From Coliseum to Castell San Angelo, from the traditional Roman Forum to St. Peter's Square at the heart of the Vatican ; from the Piazza Navona to the cobbles of the Appian Way-Rome is abeautiful and significant town that may delight who will rent appartamenti a roma.
Vienna is an ideal-typical EU city. Vienna is referred to by many as a unique onion, with each of the urban layers surrounding the oldest historic center being similarly vital to the final flavor of the town. The Austrian capital therefore welcomes all the conventions of an EU town, from Roman foundations thru to Gothic, Baroque and Historicism. Travellers are keen to visit Vienna because of the town's exciting aggregate of the royal-imperial flair of the past with the newest trends, the responsible cultivation of aprecious heritage and interesting traditions. But way more than old buildings turn Vienna into acity of beauty : one also finds wonderful museums, fine art collections and world famous artworks in the town. Vienna boasts 50 theaters, including 3 opera houses and two theaters staging musicals, 100 museums. Save money by choosing a appartamenti a vienna
Serious music lovers have long considered Vienna to be just this side of shangri la : one encounters music everywhere, from the sounds of a child practicing a Mozart piano sonata thru an open window to street musicians playing classical as well as hippy music. No other town has been home to so many composers of global renown : some, for example Schubert, Strauss, Schoenberg and Berg were born there, others, such as Mozart, Beethoven, Haydn, Brahms and Mahler chose to live there.
Culinary culture is an essential part of the way of life which has distinguished Vienna for centuries. Viennese cuisine is maybe the sole cuisine in the world thatis named for acity and not a country. Vienna has been influenced by many nations thru the previous ten centuries, something that can explain much of its attraction - and not only in the area of cooking. The word Heurigen has long been part of the vocabulary of tourism in Vienna - no sightseeing visit to the town on the Danube would be ideal without a visit to a Viennese Heurigen. Heurigens are now a synonym for some of whatis best in Vienna : hospitality, gemtlichkeit, joie de vivre mingled with a little melancholy, good solid food and refreshing dry wine. Actually, as a uniquely Viennese institution, a way of life, Heurigens are 2nd only to coffeehouses.
