Dolphins are marine animals that are specifically popular with people because of their lively and also energetic character. They vary in size and the biggest among the various genres is the orca. In addition they feed together and travel in pods of up to a dozen dolphins. When there is large quantity of food, they converge and share providing the most beautiful spectacles of about a thousand of them together. There have also been reviews of partnership between humans and dolphins in catching fish where a recent example in Brazil showed a dolphin hunting for the fish, and once spotted, signaled the fishermen to cast their nets. Their reward is the fish that fall of the net.

In contrast to other animals, dolphins engage sexually for other reasons other than reproduction. The male is domineering and often behaves aggressively towards the female. They also behave sexually towards other animals apart from their species including humans.They generally do not have any enemies except for man whose passion for them can't be discussed dating back to many years ago. The smaller dolphin also faces a threat from the bigger sharks.

There are lots of organisations worldwide associated with protection of dolphins and their culture. They are a tourist attraction owing to their beauty and their friendly and playful nature and can be found in the continental shores.
