Win a Trek Mountain Bike on a Great Day Out

The UK’s mountain bike enthusiasts are always keen to get together and chat about the latest bikes, try them out and of course have some good food and drink whilst doing it. It is very good news then that there will soon be a great biking event where attendees could win one of Trek mountain bikes’ new bikes, all hosted by the UK’s first official cycling city, Bristol.

Wittily named Mudstock, this two day festival takes place during a wider two week festival in Bristol celebrating biking and the bicycle, following Bristol’s designation as cycling city. The award of the status of cycling city led to grants which will be used to promote cycling and improve provision for cyclists within the city.

At Mudstock, attendees will be able to enjoy demonstrations of the latest Trek mountain bikes, amongst others. Whatever your level, there will be a group ride happening to suit it.Visitors to the event will also be invited to attend talks by leading figures in mountain biking which should prove to be crowd pleasers.

The event is free to get in to and everybody is welcome, regardless of whether they are great riders or not. From beginners to pros, everyone can attend.Indeed, for amateurs it is the perfect time to come down and learn a little more about their chosen sport. Because many big biking brands will be selling their wares at discounted rates, this is a great time to stock up on the essentials. Trek mountain bikes have even supplied a £500 bike which will be raffled off.

The talks, demonstrations and sales on offer are too good to miss, so the event looks likely to be popular. Even the chance to win a great Trek mountain bike is too good to miss. A great deal of food and drink will be on offer. Local cider will be abundant. In the wider event, throughout the city, there will be many events taking place, including an art exhibition with a bicycle theme.
